<p class="Paragraph"><help:help-text value="visible">The AutoFilter function filters the records based on the content of the currently selected data field.</help:help-text></p>
<p class="Paragraph">Place the cursor in a field name whose content you want to filter and then click the <span class="T1">AutoFilter</span> icon. Now you will see only those records with content identical to the selected field name.</p>
<p class="Paragraph">For example, to view all the customers from Hamburg, click a field name with the entry "Hamburg". AutoFilter then filters all customers from Hamburg from the database for you.</p>
<p class="Paragraph">You can remove the current AutoFilter with the <text:s text:c="" xmlns:text="http://openoffice.org/2000/text"/><help:link Id="65976" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help"><span class="T1">Remove Filter/Sorting</span></help:link> icon.</p>
<p class="Paragraph">To filter with several field names simultaneously, you can bring up a <help:link Id="65999" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help">dialog</help:link> with the <span class="T1">Default Filter...</span> icon where you can combine several filter criteria.</p>
